Bill Scott is one of the founders of easeltv and its Chief Operating and Commercial Officer. The company's vision is to enable brands to build high quality TV experiences using low-cost web components, fast. easeltv will help its clients to exploit broadband connected TVs and in doing so will help to shape the future of television. Bill created and led the IBM Digital Media Consulting & Systems Integration practice, which delivered a variety of interactive TV, IPTV and Digital Media projects over 9 years. Bill personally managed end-to-end business-driven projects that often started with strategy and moved through execution to operation.
In this role, Bill conceived the original idea behind Project Canvas for the BBC. Bill left IBM in June 2009 to focus on easeltv.
Bill has 25 years experience of managing IT projects to deliver business value.
Cesar Bachelet

Cesar Bachelet joined Analysys Mason in August 2008. He is the lead analyst for Analysys Mason's Consumer Content and Applications research programme, which focuses on the opportunities and challenges faced by fixed and mobile operators in an era of growing convergence between the telecoms and media industries. Cesar has 20 years' experience of the telecoms industry, and specialises in triple-play services. He has conducted research and delivered presentations on a wide range of topics, including fixed voice, broadband and video services, as well as bundling and convergence strategies. Most recently, his research has focused on IPTV, cable and over-the-top video services.
Before joining Analysys Mason, Cesar worked for various analyst companies, including Ovum. He has also worked for the telecoms operator BT, where he held a range of positions, including those of Competitor Analyst in the Consumer Division (now BT Retail) and Market Analyst in BT Ignite's ASP (application service provision) unit (now BT Global Services). Cesar has a degree from the Open University, with a specialisation in politics, economics and history.

Dr. Arjang Zadeh

Dr. Arjang Zadeh, has been a pioneer in broadband, telecom, cable and software industries for over 20 years. Prior to creating, Azdio, his current Technology company, Dr Zadeh was the Global Managing Partner of Network Practice for Accenture Communications & High Tech Operating Group. In 2000, Dr Zadeh founded Imagine Broadband a world leading Network Design and Integration and NGOSS Products company. Under his leadership Imagine broadband successfully delivered some of the most complex and largest projects for many of the major Telecom and Cable operators around the world. Dr Zadeh was the CEO of the company until its acquisition and integration into Accenture in Jan 2004.
In this role, Arjang was selected as one of the top 50 European executives in broadband Industry ("Broadband Euro 50 - 2003")
Dr. Myles Macbean

Myles joined the Walt Disney Internet Group in 2000 where he has held a variety of international responsibilities across commercial, technical and production disciplines. In his present role Myles has general management responsibility for Disney's online and interactive TV portfolio in EMEA and Latin America, technology/operations responsibility for Disney's online services outside of the US and he is managing director of Walt Disney Hungary Ltd. Prior to joining Disney, Myles worked in major telecoms and Internet organizations, starting in semiconductor optoelectronic device engineering and progressing to software/systems engineering. He became involved in the commercial exploitation of the Internet when it emerged from the scientific community. He has held a series of senior management roles with responsibility for the development, delivery, product management and distribution of internet/intranet services culminating in leadership of BT's eCommerce product division.
Myles holds a first class honours degree in applied physics, a PhD in optoelectronics and an MBA. He is a fellow of the chartered management institute, a chartered physicist and a chartered engineer.
Robert Hamilton

Robert Hamilton has worked in digital media and communications since 1994 when he set up the interactive division of leading London advertising agency Lowe Howard-Spink. He created the UK's first banner advertising (sorry folks) and was responsible for award-winning work for General Motors, Lloyds Bank and Smirnoff. He also led the ground-breaking eurosoccer.com project in 1996. After several years working as a strategy consultant for clients including BT, Shell and Virgin, he founded Scan Mobile in 1999. Scan raised $10m in June 2000 and created the world's first SMS shopping service, used by Vodafone and Orange, as well as the highly successful Text and Take Home for Argos.
When Scan was acquired in 2003 Robert joined Orange Group where he spent several years designing new products and services.
Now a Product Manager at Google, Robert is responsible for the development and in-life management of several Google products for mobile devices.
Tim Hussain

Tim joined Sky as Head of Mobile Advertising in October 2008 to develop and drive Sky's mobile advertising sales strategy. He has over eight years of commercial and product experience within digital companies across European and global markets. Previously, he was Head of Mobile Monetisation for AOL Europe and Head of Mobile for AOL in the UK, roles which saw him design and execute the European mobile strategy, including the creation of AOL's European Mobile team.
After AOL's acquisition of Third Screen Media in 2007, Tim took the leading role in integrating the newly acquired mobile offering into AOL Europe and established AOL's 3rd party mobile ad sales business. Before this, Tim had risen rapidly through the ranks at AOL UK since 2000, holding positions including Commercial Manager for Paid Services and Retail Sales Manager for ecommerce. Tim currently sits on the IAB Mobile council.

Elena Branet is Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA, for the TV, Video & Music Business at Microsoft Corporation. In this role Ms. Branet is responsible for developing the strategy and marketing plans for delivering TV on the PC to consumers across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Elena Branet drives the overall marketing strategy for Microsoft's TV, Video and Music Business in the EMEA region, including the development and launch of new TV on PC offerings with Windows 7. She also works closely with customers and partners to drive consumer demand for these new entertainment services.
Since joining Microsoft 4 years ago, Ms. Branet has established and developed Microsoft TV's marketing organization in EMEA and partnered with leading service providers on the successful launch of IPTV services. Prior to Microsoft, she has been involved in launching new technologies and brands to market, and she has extensive experience in interactive TV, broadband and mobile technologies.
Ms. Branet has also held the position of Vice President of Corporate Development at Esmertec, an embedded software platform company, as well as Vice President of Marketing at Seclutions AG, with responsibility for market strategy, branding, product marketing, communications, PR and strategic partner development. Branet has also led marketing and development of new broadband TV services for Fantastic Corporation in partnership with leading entertainment and telecommunications companies.
Branet has a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from University of California at Berkeley.

Mark Loughran

Mark Loughran is the Managing Director for Nokia UK and Ireland Ltd. In this role, Mark is responsible for Nokia UK and Ireland Customer and Marketing Operations which includes sales, marketing, product marketing, logistics and customer care.
Mark joined Nokia in June 2003 as their first ever UK Sales Director, before taking on a wider remit as Sales and Channel Director, and then as Managing Director for Nokia UK & Ireland in January 2009.
Prior to joining Nokia, Mark spent ten years with GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies. He joined the company as a Commercial Management Trainee, achieving progressively senior sales and marketing roles in the UK - most notably as Vice President Sales and Marketing. Mark also spent six years abroad as a General Manager developing GSK's pharmaceutical business in Central and Eastern Europe. This included leading up the Polish business of over 1,500 employees, significantly growing sales, profit and market share.
His first class honours degree and Ph.D in Natural Sciences came from Cambridge University. Mark's interests include technology, following sports, current affairs and he has two sons; seven year old Toby and Daniel, nine.
David Macqueen

David MacQueen is Director for Strategy Analytics Wireless Media Strategies service, providing insight and strategic advice on all aspects of consumer mobile data products and services. Key areas of research include mobile advertising, games, music, social networking, TV and video.
Mr. MacQueen has over a decade of experience at a senior level in the mobile media sector. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, David spent 3 years at Screen Digest, where he built and subsequently headed up the 'Mobile Media Intelligence' service, providing data and analysis on the mobile sector for media companies. Before that, David started up The Games Kitchen, a wireless games development company, which in its 5 year lifespan attracted clients including Disney, Panasonic and Sega.
David MacQueen holds a BSc in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh where he also undertook PhD research.
Richard Halton

As Programme Director IPTV for the BBC, Richard is responsible for Project Canvas, the proposal to bring internet connectivity to the UK's free to air platforms. The plans were shared as part of the BBC's PSB Partnership announcements in December 2008 and are under consideration by the BBC Trust.
Prior to this, Richard was Controller, Business Strategy (2006-08), co-led Creative Future, the BBC's editorial strategy (2005-06) and was Controller Television Strategy (2003-05). He also sits on the board of Freeview.
Through these different roles Richard has been instrumental in shaping the BBC's response to the changing audience, competitive and technology environment, led the development of a number of the BBC's existing services and led teams responsible for many of the BBC's existing commercial and policy frameworks.
He joined the BBC from Andersen Consulting in 1999.

Sylvain Thevenot joined TalkTalk Group in November 2008, to create the Products & Strategy function and has driven the adoption of the TalkTalk Residential Portfolio, including new 'myTalkTalk' service, that gives full flexibility for customers to purchase extra 'boosts' like the 'security boost'. Prior to TalkTalk, Sylvain spent 8 years in various senior roles in Vodafone, and played in particular a key role in the launch of Vodafone live! in 2002, Premium Content for 3G in 2004, Mobile Broadband in 2006, Fixed-Mobile proposition ('Vodafone At Home') in 2007, and converged Online Portal in 2008.
Sylvain also worked for Microsoft from 1997 to 2000, developing the first large scale eCommerce sites for Microsoft clients in Retail and Telecoms industries.
Sylvain started his career as a young entrepreneur setting up one of the first ISPs in France in 1994, introducing the first live radio streamed in Europe in 1996, and eCommerce Shopping mall in 1995.
Mark Boyd

Mark is Creative Director and Head of Content at advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, where he is responsible for developing new branded content opportunities for advertisers. BBH is seen as setting the agenda in content, in using emerging platforms and in new funding models for media.
Projects include branded TV programming, theatrical film releases, contract publishing, radio, mobile and gaming. Mark recently created The Audi channel, the first general advertiser channel in Europe. Much of the agency's work now champions new business models and ways of working.
Previously, Mark was Director of Content and Stream MSI/TBWA, having joined from Hutchison 3g (now 3) where he was Head up Young Adult Markets.
Before this, Mark worked Drum PHD and worked on a number of advertiser funded projects in different media. He joined from Virgin Media, his first media role after a brief detour via the civil service.
Mark has always worked to find new roles for brands beyond traditional advertising, working for all of the key stakeholders: agency, media owner and client side. He has worked on a range of brands including AXE, Audi, Bertolli, Johnnie Walker, HSBC, Sainsbury's and Orange.
Ian Walker

Having joined EchoStar Europe to drive its IPTV business development and sales strategy, Ian's remit was subsequently expanded to cover all elements of business-to-business commercial activity. With over 17 years experience in the digital television industry, Ian has occupied a number of senior commercial and operational positions both in the content management and delivery and technology sectors.
Prior to joining EchoStar Europe, Ian was VP New Business Development at Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB) where he successfully launched the company's IPTV strategy, establishing ADB as a major supplier of IPTV and hybrid broadcast/IPTV set-top boxes. During this time he built an extensive customer base of leading telecommunications and broadband operators and was also influential in securing several industry awards for the company's IPTV technology.
Earlier in his career Ian worked with NDS before moving to TANDBERG Television - which had acquired NDS's digital broadcast business - where he handled a number of high-profile, key-accounts in the Broadcast and Broadband Contribution & Distribution sector.
Ian had earlier represented Pace Micro Technology as New Business Development Manager with responsibility for securing new business with European satellite television operators. He began his digital TV career with Thorn Europe where he secured major, multi-territory contracts to supply Pay-TV services to the global hospitality market, subsequently adding the management of Thorn's Pay-TV operations in 22 countries to his commercial responsibilities.

Christian has 10 years design management experience from Nokia. Following his Nokia role he worked at Yahoo as Vice President of Global Mobile Products, overseeing the development of Yahoo's mobile services. He drove the creation of several mobile services at Yahoo, including the award-winning Yahoo Go 2.0. Christian was also the creator of Lifeblog, and a recognised industry innovator. He is a frequent conference speaker. His extensive experience and know-how allows him to ensure solutions meet the needs of the mass market, are scalable for the future and are rich in innovation.
At Fjord Christian has been driving product strategy projects for mobile operators, has been advising the BBC on mobile strategy, and has consulted for Nokia on strategic future service and UI solutions.
